Overwatch x Sailor Moon - Sailor Mercy & Pharah - Collab Skin Concept Art (2025 Revamp)
A modern redesign / revamp of the idea for Overwatch skins I had back in 2018 - as a theme for an ''art trade''.
As usually with these fan-made skins for videogame I draw, I prefer to make them following a theme, rather than transforming a character to be like / ''cosplay'' another established character, as Overwatch tend to do with these ''Collaboration skins''.
But besides creating the thematic skins for Pharah and Mercy, I added the more traditional collaboration skin versions, as a fun experiment and to make this crossover idea more recognizable.
I'm happy how these turned out
Mercy as a Magical Sailor Girl. A vision of ''what if Mercy transform into the Sailor magical girl''... Very proud how I used the hip wings to simulates the hip ''flaps'' that Mercy skins have, not to break the character's recognizable silhouette
A comparison between two versions I made: between the ''thematic skin'' (default) and the traditional ''collaboration skin'' Overwatch 2 tend to do nowadays
Same idea with Mercy, just for Pharah. Unlike Mercy however, I had to redesign her more drastically from the original 2018 form, to fit her in-game model and mechanics - like splitting the SM dress, to make Pharah's ''thigh missiles''more accessible.
Just like with the Mercy one, a comparison between two versions I've created... Decided to give her Sailor Mercury skin, since she matches with Pharah's default color scheme
