The Bad Batch but with a more standardized Commando Clones set appearance!
Despite liking the strong theming on individualism in both the Clone Wars and its spin-off: the Bad Batch... design-wise I feel like the "clone" aspect was a bit of lost.
Throughout Star Wars, the clones got so many variants and alternatives of the iconic white armor we all know... and for a person who like the united look, uniforms and same-armor-army, horde/army of clones tropes, it's a bit too much with the variants of the clone armor in SW.
With the Bad Batch, they seemingly have the same base armor, but many bits and pieces differ... especially the helmets, they all have a different helmet in the show.
Especially hated Tech's design, his hair (on man his hair -_-), his armor was brighter/lighter, no thigh armor, big googles - that I believe gets in a way to wear normal clone/commando helmet and had to wear a bigger, more opened helmet, ...similarly Echo ear-piece, makes the helmet to practically works like a mask rather than a helmet (?) or Crosshair's random height, hair and mass/muscle difference
... and that all is a bit too much for my taste.
-So I wanted to simplify things with this art, tried to unify them back, to look more same-y, to be clones... limiting each members' own personalities being expressed only via their custom decals and gadgets/tools, I kept their default Bad Batch colors however, didn't want to remove CF99's identity entirely.
Also tried to draw these clone faces to resemble Temuera Morrison, the original actor of Jango Fett, the template for the Clone Army.
-Midway creating this, I realized some people might simply see this as "Bad Batch X Republic Commando" mashup/crossover ;) .....which is fair enough, they indeed share similar tropes.
